At Dickinson Cabinetry we pride ourselves on our high level of service. Our company is unique in the fact that I, the owner of the company, am the one who personally measures your home and creates drawings using my computer. I submit the drawings to you and we work together to fine-tune your design. I then use my extensive experience to solve any design challenges that arise. My team works with your contractor and your cabinet installer to ensure a quality installation.
We custom-finish all of the cabinets in our onsite spray shop. We mix our stains and glazes which makes the color possibilities nearly limitless. We can also computer-match any color. Our top coats are conversion varnish which will stand up to water and everyday use. Our painted cabinets are simply conversion varnish with your choice of an added pigment. Customers are encouraged to visit our shop and spend some time with our finishers creating custom color for their special project. We also come to your home, when all of the work is completed for a final touch-up. We want your kitchen to be perfect the very first day you start to enjoy it.
All of our cabinets are made with 100% ¾ inch thick maple plywood. This makes for an extremely sturdy cabinet with a beautiful "clean" interior. In addition, the ¾ inch backs are installed with a rabbeted joint making them even sturdier. This is an uncommon, superior construction that I insist on. After all, my name is on it.
Our drawer boxes are solid maple dovetailed construction. They have 5/8 solid maple sides and a sturdy 3/8 ply bottom. The bottoms will not sag like 1/4 bottoms often do. We also spray the conversion varnish finish on the drawers after they are constructed. This gives the drawer a flawless finish. There will not be raw exposed wood at the dovetail joints.
We believe cabinets should not only look great but function flawlessly. We only use Blum Hinges and Blum Tandem under mount soft close, full extension drawer guides. We include the soft close on the hinges. Blum is the industry leader. These drawer guides and hinges come with a lifetime warranty.

After the whole bookshelf was installed, I wanted to add some more holes to adjust the height of each shelf. They sent a worker right away and the job was done as quickly as possible. No additional payment. No question asked.
And for those who are doing remodeling the whole house, you will be surprise to find out that some companies aren't always responsible to what they once said. Delayed finish dates, additional costs, and no show up on the appointment dates. You don't need to worry about those things with Dickinson Cabinetry. You can have a good night sleep.
